Christi Pritchett Sarlo Joins Gilkey Organization
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (Oct. 15, 2008) – Dennis Gilkey, CEO of Gilkey Organization, LLC announces the addition of Christi Pritchett Sarlo as manager of permitting and entitlement strategies for the company.
In this position, Sarlo will use her expertise in sustainability to help clients of the environmentally focused development and advisory company to define comprehensive plan land use and master zoning approval strategies. This includes identifying critical concurrency issues, scope and commitments of developer contribution agreements, and environmental permitting strategies. She will also lead Gilkey Organization’s community outreach and education programs, relative to planning and entitlements.
“Christi will be a key contributor to our focus on sustainability,” says Gilkey. “She has proven herself as a future leader in this area, with expertise in sustainability, preservation and low-impact development. A Florida-licensed Realtor, Sarlo is currently pursuing American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification and LEED Accredited Professional certification. She has over five years of experience in permitting and entitlement for master planned communities and holds memberships in the Urban Land Institute Young Leaders Group, the U.S. Green Building Council, the Florida Green Building Coalition and the Real Estate Investment Society, among other professional organizations. She is also a Rotarian and serves on the board of directors of the Edison Festival of Light.
Sarlo is a graduate of Charlotte County Leadership Class of 2008 and was named a Gulfshore Business magazine “40 Under 40” honoree in 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and agribusiness from the University of Florida. She graduated with honors and earned the Presidential Recognition Award for Outstanding Leadership while attending the university.
